These four shots remind me of the ballets I painted for the late Oliver Smith and Jose Varona, ‘Giselle’ and ‘Swan Lake’. Each had a ‘forest scene’ and your shots look amazingly as if they were lit by a Stage Lighting Designer. The dogs? Also a beauty…light and shadow make it more appealing.
I’m not in a club. I’ve never found them to be particularly welcoming… I taught myself.
Perhaps I’ll mull it over in my head. I could stand a good challenge with my fabrics.

If you ever find yourself in Ca, go visit Prairie Redwoods State Park.
You will be in awe…like walking in a living cathedral…
Redwoods are kings…
A wonderful sequence. Such delicious light and tones. Scrolling down, I felt such a sense of happiness when I arrived at the final image of the two dogs. Very nice.

Love the colour combinations.. and the puppy and doggy ~ SO adorable. Pets are always there for you, now and forever!
Australian Shepard and tibetan spaniel are totally in love…Always have been. Match made in doggie heaven
Very nice sequence – the dog and pup act as a real pay-off after the detached cerebral forest shots. I like it a lot.
My dogs are always in the moment… No BS there.

It is difficult to accept such a marvelous compliment, Maurice, from one so supremely talented himself. I thank you…profusely!

I wish I had the skills to pay tribute to the first image, in the form of an art quilt… Very inspiring, Barbara.
Thank you. I can totally see a quilt. Once I tried to join a quilting club but the ladies said I was too young:)…
