iPhone 2 is stunning! The vignetted color, warms and cools, (my favorite colors)under the raindrop effect is mesmerizing. I’m reminded of the Lumiere brother’s first attempts at color photogtraphy, at the turn of the last century. This is your masterpiece!! Can’t wait to see #3.
They invented the “Autochrome” process. Two sheets of glass, (one with colored dots, one with b&w emulsion) were exposed, developed, and combined to form a glass color transparency. This was viewed in a lightbox. All of this took place in the earlyt 1900′s. There are people still making plates, and using the process.
Beautiful. What I like about your work is that you manage to get not just a single amazing image but a whole set which work so well together.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. You are now on my blogroll as I feel more people should be familiar with your work!
Clever words from my trusty source: brainyquote.
My prefabricated images…
The Queen of pop, Warhol, was a brilliant man….but I hope not too cynical.
Now if I can only walk the talk…:)
I use Hipstamatic almost exclusively, then Snapseed… sometimes I run the pics through PhotoToaster.
This set was run through ScratchCam.
I often end up fine tuning in Photoshop.
Barbara these are some beautiful images. Don’t you just love what we can do with camera phone and apps? I really like the first shot and treatment. I find the camera/app is a great tool for quick work and instant posting.
Thanks for letting me camp out in your blog for a little while. I had a great time — really enjoyed Mt. Diablo — and tried to leave my campsite as clean as when I arrived. I’ll be back!
Beautiful. It’s not too windy up there, right? I don’t see her dress blowing around like yours was!
Mike
No wind at all…although it would be nice to have some…next time I will bring a blow-dryer
