well done!
j’adore cette ambiance.
Great Noir. This looks like a 1940′s/50′s film location. Very very cool. I love Film Noir.
love it!
Love the moodiness, Barbara
Very gritty and Weegee-like
I like this pairing of quote and images, Barbara.
Very cool series of shots and awesome processing
Excellent Noir sequence. Love the quotation.
Reblogged this on glennweissel and commented:
Very moody B&W photos that I like so much I wanted to reblog. Well done Barbara!
Beautiful Noir quality…like a film. What is the last photograph? I especially like it. The pp on all is so well done here.
Thank you kindly.
Down Under the Manhattan Bridge.
I like to sing there when nobody happens by …acoustics are phenomenal + you cannot really hear yourself (car noise from the bridge)
If I sang, that’s where it would have to be!
Thank you very much for your kind comments and your valuable time.
What a great quote. I have not heard that before, but as someone who has had a very different life than anyone I know it calls to me.
The rest of us have to travel the world to get mood and texture like this, you just go to Brooklyn…I guess it pays to be a GENIUS.
Marvelous shots, barbara! Love the quote, and thanks for that link!
Love the quote, and the shots are filled with foreboding!
